Front Heated Seats

I have a 2001 infiniti qx4. The heated seats do not get hot. The left switch works and the right one does not.
What should I look at replacing. pads, elements, or heater motors.

Anyone have experience fixing this.

Go under the bad non warming seat, disconnect the connector to the element and with a multimeter see if you have 12-15 VDC at the feed connector. Yes, the problem is with the seat heater, , No, the problem is with the power supply...check fuses to start with.

i have a similar issue but my seat heaters work but just not that hot. i think they are just weak. my rears work alot better than the fronts. i just think over time they just get weak

Elements do wear. But these are fixed rating. Check all connections and make certain they are secure, tight and clean. The use of a DC amprobe will tell a lot about the heater.
