I have cracked glass in the front fog lamp. A sand and dirt is comming into the lamp through this crack.
What I wan't to do is to open the lamp, clean it and glue that crack.
I dismounted the lamp from the car but I don't know how to open it. Do you know if it is possible to open the fog light?

The easiest way to open the light is to bake it in the oven at 200 degrees for about ten minutes to loosen the glue holding it together. then after you're done reheat the glue and reattach the light.

I dont know if pathfinder fogs come apart like our qx4 ones do, but baking it in an oven is quite easy on low temps, but if your glass is already cracked it may not be a great idea as you have to pry the pieces apart and may cause more damage.

Easiest way is clear silicone on the exterior

When I had a fog light with a hole in the glass, I just replaced the entire assembly. Aftermarket fogs are only around $45-50 from RockAuto and their beam pattern seems comparable to the OEM ones.

Ok, thanks for all yours suggestions. I'll try to heat that lamp and write about result when I am done.
