I want to upgrade Green T's front bumper cover to the 2007 - 2009 style. :bigthumb:
has anybody here tried that yet?

is it a fully bolt - on kinda deal, or are there any big differences under the bumper cover
to this face change?

thank you

Now Green T tells me that she wants a facelift done on her,
so she can look like her 2007-2009 Quest sisters out there.

I would Imagine this is a pretty straightforward upgrade,
but have any Questies here at NICO performed this surgery yet?

I do have to admit Greenie's right, her later sisters do look nicer,
and more up to date with their looks.

so thank you for your comments and suggestions. :dblthumb:

with best regards,

Green T (and her handler:- )

I know this is an old post, but I thought I'd respond anyway. I have been looking into doing the exact opposite. Ha! I have a 2007 and don't like the Cheshire cat smile grill so much, but would rather have the modern design 2004 style. That grill was take straight from the gorgeous original prototype and is now being copied by the latest Mercedes.

But I digress... The whole bumper is different and needs to be changed; the '04 grille is not as wide and has two small parts of the bumper between it and the headlights. The '07 bumper goes the full width between the headlights. And the top of the '04 bumper is straight vs. the '07 have an indentation from the emblem surround.

Wanna swap?

ID LOVE NOTHING MORE! :dblthumb:
but we would need a body man to do the swap, as green T is my daily driver,
so her down time is short.
I also need to know where you are located. i'm in northern NJ.
If we are near, then we should wait until after winter to swap faces (!)
and as green T is, well, green tea in color, and yours is a whitie,
we would both need to get paint jobs for the two ladies.

let me know.

I know this is old, but were you ever able to find the answer to this?
Does the 2007 front bumper cover and grille bolt straight on to the 2004 models?

An old one, but interesting. I would guess you would almost have to tear each car apart and look at the differences. My real question would be the support structure underneath - I doubt the bumper cover and lights and filler pieces would mount up on the old (or new depending upon which way you were going) mount points. And where did you get those angel eye headlights?

Having seen some '04 on junk yards, I think you could easily swap out the entire bumper/grill assembly. I came home with only the '04 grill and want to see about grafting it onto the '07+ grill. Nice looking bumpers are hard to find.
The headlights are my own creation, using Morimoto projectors and LED halos.
