so I'm home now on Thanksgiving break from school, and I was real excited I got to drive my S13 around while Im back at home (I dont take my car to school), but the car feels really different than the last time I drove it. Before I left last time, I installed some new tie rod ends (the old ones' bushings were completely smashed and leaking grease), but I never really got a chance to drive around on them. Now, I KNOW I need an allignment, cause my steering wheel is off a little bit (like not pointing in the right direction completly), but also the front end feels real wishy washy, like itll squirm a little bit when I accelerate or sometimes itll get a little squirreley on me... haha sorry it's kinda hard to describe.

My question is, though, do you think that could be because I need the allignment, or could it be something wrong with the tie rods? I'm really sure I put the tie rods on right-- I mean it's not a complicated operation... the front end just feels so crappy now I feel like something must be wrong. I'm hoping it's just the allignment but maybe not. What do you guys think?

Sounds like the alignment. Your tires are scrubbing sideways slightly and as the speed increases they tread blocks will start to squirm a lot as they are flexed slightly against the rib designs.

mine feels very similar to that too . i just put new snow tires on, I 'm pretty sure i need an alignment, and my tie rods are worn. the worn out tires I had on the car before didn't feel like this, maybe it's because of the new tires? I haven't had snow tires before, but it is really weird steering/handling now. I am ordering moog tie rods (in and out) to replace the old ones before I get an alignment, so i don't have to pay for it 2x....
