Hey guys. At my school there are numerous speed bumps in the parking lot, and everytime i go over one (or if i hit a big bump in the road) there is a squeek coming from the front end. It started doin this back in December. I took it in to the dealer to get an oil change and i told them about it and they took care of it... that is, until about 2 weeks ago, the squeek came back bad as ever. I thought it was only my car, but i found out that my friends '08 QX does the same thing. I live in Massachusetts where it snows and they put sand and road salt on the roads so people dont slide all over the place. Is it just the sand and road salt thats getting on to things thats making my car squeek?

I am having the same problem with my QX. It started in the December timeframe also. I only notice it when I hit speed bumps or where there will be a decent amount of wheel/suspension travel occuring.

Hey Guys. Had same prob with my QX56. Dealer looked at it... it turned out to be the lower skid plate that was squeaking. They removed it, greased it and replaced and now its fine. They also found my lower cross member loose... re-tourqued and she's good as new

I thought it was the cross member on mine. Since you had the same problem thats probable what it is.

The squeak is coming from the two bushing mounts holding the front sway bar. Either spray it with silicon spray or remove them, slide them and lube the sway bar.

The same thing happened to me and the lube got rid of the problem. The road salt works the lube out causing it to squeak.

whenever I hit a bump hard..well not that hard I will hear a squeek coming from the front suspension area in my 05' QX56....ghey nissan!

The sway bar bushings is what was making the noise, after i went to the car wash today i sprayed them down with WD-40 and it's all silent now. Thanks fot the help.
