Front end shimmy

I have a 1992 240 sx that has been well maintained. I've replaced the tires but still have a shimmy in front end. The wheel moves slightly back and forth. I've noticed the hood on DS shaking. Could this be a tie rod or lower control arm.

your wheel could be out of balance, loose lug nuts, etc. there's a number of things that could be wrong. and for future reference, try not to use such vague thread titles, also, 240 gen or 240 tech might be better places to browse for your answer, i'm sure this problem has happened to another member before and they subsequentally created a thread about it already.
