front end noise?

Recently I started hearing some knocking coming from the right front strut, and I'm wondering what it could be. When I turn, it knocks and squeeks, prolly bushings, but when I brake it knocks also, as if the wheel is moving independently from the suspension. Ball joint? Is this a common thing in 240s? What else could it be? Any help would be great. I don't have a lot of money and can only fix what needs to be replaced. Thanks in advance.

check balljoints, tierods, and bearings. they could be causing your problem. almost sounds like a balljoint though. hope you figure it out.
