I have a 2009 Versa. I've read the forum topics concerning the clunking while turning right and going slow - I have that. I also have a squeaking in the whole front end when I go over bumps while driving slow; ie: speed bumps. It's worse when I'm going up hill and come to a stop and then start moving again.

I told the dealer a couple months ago (for the second time) and they changed the strut because of the service bulletin. Since then, the squeak remains and now the clunk is worse.

I will return and ask for the intermediate steering shaft to be replaced, but what about the squeaking?? Anyone else with that problem?

(and of course I can not get it to happen when driving with the service guy.)

the squeaking is probably caused by somehing in the springs, not the struts. Your dealer may want to check the upper mounts on the shocks and that everything is well lubricated.
