Replaced the front impact crash sensor on my 2003 350 Z touring car. still getting a open circuit DTC( B1035) called dealership talked to customer service, says that it has to be reprogramed with a consult @ $135.00 i personally think hes blowing smoke. anyone else hear that needing to b done? Car was never in a front end crash. when i bought the car it was broken off so just part of the black connector was still in the wiring harness. any help would much appreciated.

I'd check with a local collision repair shop and see what they have to say about it, I'm sure they see more of these errors (real ones anyway) than Nissan ever will.

Just a crazy stab in the dark, but you might try the airbag light reset procedure. Don't think it will work but it won't cost you anything to try. There's a YouTube video in how to do it.
