I was recently in an accident resulting in over $8000 damage to the front of my Rogue. It was really a low speed hit (air bags did not deploy) but it took out the hood, bumper left fender, and damaged a lot of plastic under the hood including the ECU. I got the car back a week ago and it looks and drives like new.
I need to take it in for its annual state inspection next week and was thinking about having the mechanic do a wheel alignment just to make sure everything is straight. The body shop did charge 2 hours of "Frame labor" but didn't specify what was done other than verbally state that it was put on the rack. It could have been just moving body brackets back into place, but I suppose it could have been more serious frame bending.
I was looking though the Nissan maintenance schedule and I could not find any reference to wheel alignment. Is that not required anymore or is it now called something else and I just missed it? I downloaded the Service and Maintenance Guide 2011 from the Nissan site and did a word search for "alignment" so I know it is not there.
I also saw a post on this forum which seems to imply that the only adjustments are front toe-in and rear camber. How adjustable is the wheel alignment on the Rogue?
