So, I was driving home and the emergency brake kicked in for no reason and then (I'm guessing) realized it's mistake and then went back to normal driving. I'm thinking it might have been an issue with the way the sunlight was coming through the trees messing with the sensor. Something similar used to happen with my old Infiniti's cruise control every now and then.

Anyone else have this issue?

Have you taken it in to the dealer for the software update for the AEB yet? There was a recall or a TSB that covered the issue.

is this an issue on the 2020 rogues too? I had issue with the light blinking on me, twice now, but without any braking. I don't trust this vehicle and now I want a refund on it.

Good luck on the refund. I went to the dealer and they replaced the front radar (or so they say) free of charge. It seems to have fixed the issue.

You got to bring it in though. At least get it documented. But bring in articles. (There are multiple to choose from). They’ll most likely try to address it somehow

Geico replaced the FEB sensor when our 2019 got into a little collision and fixed the issue for free. However, If you are still in your new car 3yr/36k mile warranty, Nissan SHOULD cover it (in my case they weren't).

Yeah, Nissan should cover it. They didn't fix mine when I had less than 1000 miles.
