Front driver wheel knock

First off I have a 91 hatch with 220k on the body... ok so I never post anything cause I usually find what I'm looking for but everthing I searched came up with nothing. closest I found was a rear wheel knock but didn't really sound like my problem since it was the rear... I started to drive today and in low speeds 10 to 30mph I could hear a constant knocking toward the front driver side tire it didn't shake the car so that's what really confused me . I got out and shook the wheel and checked the nuts but no play in that area. I've searched like I said and some have mentioned shocks going bad and someone mentioned brakes also... I have tokiko blue shocks and tein springs they've been on for about 2 years. brakes are good too... I'm clueless. Any ideas???

wheel berings may be on there way out or possabley ball joints.

i know on my truck when the ball joints went bad on the front right side they make a clunking sound.

This may just be springs moving but when I turn the wheel at a dead stop it makes a knock to but I always thought it was springs moving but they are sitting in right. Funny thing though is my g/f mom used to work for Nissan and she heard me turning out the driveway one day and she said it was ball joints... don't know if it's related to my knocking problem though

that sound is coming from your tie rods. have your vehicle up, and wiggle the tire side to side. if there's play that means your tie rods are shot.
