First post....HAY GUYZ!!!!

So the unthinkable happened: My new old 2011 Rogue I bought in April was a victim of a hit and run in Brooklyn. The body shop quoted me an insane number so I'm gonna buy a pre-painted fender and do it myself.

Anyone ever do this? Any tip/tricks, special tools? I guess I'm taking the bumper off in the process.

Thanks in advance dudes.

You tube has several videos on fender replacement, although not on the rogue specifically most all vehicles are similar. There are a couple of rogue videos about inner fender and headlight replacement, those may be worth watching as you'll have to remove those items also. The hardest part is usually getting the fender lined back up properly and all the gaps correct.

Hey OP, FYI fenders usually are paint to match items meaning that that they do not come painted. You will need to have the fender painted to match your vehicle. This is pretty much standard through the automotive industry. I was able to find a genuine Nissan OEM parts listing page for the fender options available based on your model. You can narrow the results by entering your VIN on the website. Here's the parts listing page https://www.nissanpartsprime.com/parts- ... ?PNC=63101

Whatever you do, realize that the cheaper Chinese replica parts have much more bolt hole and other location variance as compared to OEM. A fender can be made to work but extra effort often needed to make it so, BTDT.

They often say prepainted but it means primered usually.
