This gets you into diagnostics mode of your electronics.
Go into diagnostics and test each subsection
I believe some errors in the diagnostics are normal. Unfortunately, I can't tell you which ones. I don't think the normal ones will really have significant meaning to most people (myself included), though, so if there are any that matter/could help, hopefully they make sense. That having been said, while testing everything, don't forget the RCA ports behind the console. I imagine you'll have the same problem with them, but it might be interesting/helpful in diagnosis if you didn't. Dealers are expensive, but I'm thinking $700 might still be high for a camear, and maybe the lady described the isuse wrong but the quote for the repair would be right in fixing it. Unfortunately, you'd have to pay a diagnostic fee to go to the dealer. Presumably it would count toward repair, though, making that point moot if the quote comes back at $700 and you were willing to pay that.
