Front differential swap for AWD. M35x

I’m about to do a front differential swap on my X . Does anyone have any tips and tricks get it out and in smoothly? The front u joint broke and Grenaded the front of my differential.

Unfortunately this is not a common work item here and no one has really done a write up :(. You may be able to use the HowTo/FAQ link in my signature and get access to the FSM which may help you out.

Well I got the KMember pulled down to access the differential I can’t get image posted but it sure is a mess, I am waiting on new seals for the donor differential, then back into the vehicle. I estimated this job to be around 8hours total
