Front Differential plug M35X

please dont laugh .. :)

can anyone tell me where to find the front differential plug on a M35X? been looking all over under the car..found the tranfer plug, oil but for the life of me cant find the front Differential plugs to change out the oil!!

actually never-mind..have to remove the entire undercarriage plastic cover and there it is, right next to the Oil Filter..

If you download the FSM for your car it should be in the DLN, page 132 area (plus/minus a page or two). Should show you an exploded view of the differential. Link to FSM's is in my sig (FAQ).

FYI, make sure that the car remains level if you've jacked it up. This is important when refilling to make sure you attain the correct fluid level. Easy job if you have a lift. Time consuming if you have to put all four tires on ramps (which is what I did last year).

i'm not 100% sure but i think there's a fill and drain plug. so before you drain, you want to make sure you can take the fill out first. these are hex driver but. i bought the whole kit from Autozone - from 10mm to 14 hex. you will need that to open
