Hi,

Newbie here with a very specific question that might determine my decision to purchase an '82 720:

Can anyone tell me what the approximate clearance is from the centerline of the crankshaft to the nearest point of the front differential housing? I know the 4X4s require a special offset oil pan because things are pretty tight in that area, and I have a project in mind that would require about 5" from the center of the crank to the nearest non-engine obstacle. I'm assuming that's the front differential housing . . .

The truck is over an hour drive away, so I can't just pop over and measure it myself.
