GET THE CLIP!!!!! I'm warning you know lol I got the motor set, and I think it came out more expensive in the end. Believe me, you'll pay more up front, but you'll save SOO much more, and you can sell the rest of the useless stuff that you get out of it.

theyre located in Gardena, CA. Theyre a bit pricey compared to others, but they have excelent customer service. Also, check out some of the sponsors nico has.

University Place Garage in Tacoma would be a great choice for you since they have excellent customer service and they are quite close to you. I dont know if they have S14 engines or clips in at the moment. Give Doug or Erik a call at 253 565 9823. You can actually go look at what you are buying as well. If you get it from them you should only need an engine set since they know everything you need to do the swap. I used to know of other places near where you live but now most are closed.

Otherwise you can also try to deal with Phase2.

Wow, I'm surprised there wasn't any flames for this. Clip is always better.

Get a clip unless you are doing a major buildup and basically want to start from scratch. More importantly weither you buy one or the other make sure that you are buying from a respectable business before you hand over your $$$.

i highly recommend that you go with a clip, i also recommend that you buy one from http://www.mrjdm.com. i bought my s14 clip from them with 40K miles for 3K. They are a company that is located in japan that sells engine for dirt cheap.

another great thing that the company does is, they can take apart the entire clip for you and put it all into a container. this saves you hundreds on shipping. talk to mrjdmchat on aim. he's on at weird times tho.

depends on what you want to do, if you want a stock swap, or maybe just a few upgrades a clip is the way to go.

if your planning a bunch of upgrades, you might as well get just an engine set.

I'd say 8/10 times, when buying a motorset, the harness is chewed up... and man, oem harnesses from the dealership are not cheap. and usually, most problems that occur after a swap are harness related..

Definitly Front Clip. Majority of importers are on the West Coast. I like Venus-Auto.com. A friend of mine in Cali buys from them and hes said all there engines run great.
