A front clip (also called a half-cut or front-cut) is typically from the shifter-forward. Should include engine, transmission, wiring harness, ECU, everything mechanical. The body panels, dash, and wheel typically get torn up because the emphasis is on the mechanical.
The problem with the RB26DETT swap is that you need an RB25DET transmission (to keep it RWD). You need an RB25 oil pan or a crazy-fabricator-friend to eliminate the front differential (which is part of the oil pan on an RB26DETT). You also need a driveshaft (such as Drive Shaft Shop or McKinney). You also need fancy downpipes for your twin turbos to clear the steering rack (McKinney also offers this).
In other words, RB26DETT swap is twice the price of a SR20DET swap.
