Front clip/motorset: OEM Replacing

I dont have the space to store a ca18det clip/motorset at my house, but I want to replace the gaskets and misc. OEM things. I'd have to get the clip/moterset shipped directly to the shop, so should I buy the OEM things BEFORE I buy the clip (without digging into clip money)?
