my ka transmission is shot so i was thinkin about doing an sr swap. a local shop wants $4000 for a whole sr front clip installed. it sounds like a lot to me. i wanted to know what you guys thought

That price is mediocre. Clip cost around 2k to 3k depending on the year and mileage. Does the clip come with fenders hood, light etc? and do you get to keep those?

4k for the clip + install? thats not that bad. install can range anywhere from 1k-2k!! @_@ yeah some places are rip offs haha. if you're somewhat mechanically inclined, its not that hard save 1k and gain a wealth of knowledge
