Ok so technically the only one that is truely daily driver friendly is the stillen kit unless ive been researching incorrectly.

I have been looking into getting a front kit BUT its retarted why is the damn stillen front so much damn money. I just can't see spending 800+ for a damn front bumper and thats if i went single color which i don't want to do.

I mean i love the stillen front kit but seriously its soooooo much damn money.

From what ive heard Fox and AIT will be made of a different material and wont be daily friendly. I mean weve already heard stories of them cracking and the damn AIt isnt even out yet lol

SOOOOOOO my main point of this post is that IS STILLEN REALLY THE ONLY COMPETITOR???????????????

i mean i love going to shows but if that means ima have to put 800+ for a new front i think my hobbys gonna have to end or deal with a f***ed up front bumper.......dumb and it just sucks bc everytime i wash it im like FML its broken

honestly, try and get a group buy going.... i got mine NON group buy price but it was a huge sale and i paid $600 shipped to my door.... then a group buy went on and i know it was cheaper but not sure how much cheaper... maybe $500 or $550 shipped to your door for group buy price... i'm too lazy but if you want to search for it, im sure you can find the exact amount and everything

oh matthew.

:P lol

idk.

ya shipping is rapeage- esp from west coast to east coast. w/ the size of the box they use... i wish i could help u out, but i really cant :/

all i have is tht if u get the AIT or the extreme dimensions front- have the shop u do it at use flex additive on the outside AND the inside- i did that w/ my Spyder body kit on my old altima and i never had a problem. and it was fiberglass too. - the extra inside layer might add 20 bucks ? its more of a tack on the inside anyways so its not a big deal. but it'd help...

honestly- as long as u mount it correctly, and even go a step ahead an make brackets to take any bit of strain off certain areas, u shouldnt ever have a problem.

yes w/ fiberglass u'll have stress cracks- they show over the paint- over time- but only near the holes that its attatched. u gta realize its gna do that- and thats only because the paint is not as flexible as the material- its not that the bumper itself is cracking. for instance u wont get a stress crack in the middle of the bumper, cus theres nothing there lol- ud get one near any screw hole.

another thing- is do NOT keep a f.glass kit on during the winter. esp in PA/NY- u just dont want that- the constant temp changes expand and contract and f.glass is NOT good in deep deep cold. so i'd keep ur stocker no matter what as a backup for that.

and when ppl say tht the bumper cant take weathering and stuff- its diff on f.glass cus w/ a urethane or plastic bumper, a rock will hit and maybe a scuff, but nothin else an itll buff out. w/ fiberglass, the outer layer is so thick, its not as impact resistant. so if its hit w/ a decent sized rock or at a decent speed- u get knicks in the paint and chips. thats why u typically want a primer to be close to the color of ur car, so u'd do a black primer w/ black gloss- and a few layers of it imho- otherwise after about 2 or so years, u'll see tiny chips in the paint. and thts something flex additive cant help w/ - it only helps w/ stress cracks or a potential bump

hope this helped

free shipping on the fascia is crazy if they do have it, i'd jump on that.... when i got mine, they said free shipping and then they were like oh, bumpers are big so no free shipping on those. i forgot exactly how much but i think shipping was like $150 or something.... i know it was $100+ and i live in Cali too... so for east coast ppl it might be a good amount more.

Once I finally get my car I would be interested in buying the stillen kit too (unless I end up going for the 2010).....but I doubt we have enough to do a group buy.

they had signs all over the site saying free shipping and then when i was ordering it, they were like oh, the bumper is big and free shipping is only on small things like an intake.... with the money i saved from no shipping charges, i probably could of had them send me a intake too lol

lol its not thats its the fact of shipping it to me and painting it which could run up to like 800+........and the fact that all the other kits arent made to handle everyday use
