Front bumper removal with OEM foglights

So my one HID headlight is out and I plan on taking off the bumper to replace it. My question is that I wanted to know if the oem foglights are attached to the bumper and what to do if they are. Or if they are not and it's just a matter of taking off the Fascia. I didn't see a mention of that in the tech article.

Also does anyone know a brand of normal bulbs that produce a white light that is somewhat similar to HIDs? Or if there isn't anything like that.

On an unrelated sidenote I'm finally going to get around to putting on my stillen lip so I'm excited about that.

Yeah the fogs are attached to the bumper. When you remove it, just be cognizant of the fact that they are attached be a connector. What I'm saying is don't just wank the bumper off. When you remove it, you'll have enough slack there to disconnect the fogs. As for the bulb question, No. There isn't a halogen that will mimic a HID. There are HID "look" bulbs but that's all they are. If you want to retro fit HIDs in the fogs, go on ebay and buy decent pair and install them. It's really easy to do. Good Luck!

Sorry I should have clarified I already have hids in the fogs but I'm going to have to use one of those bulbs to replace the one that's out. I'm running 6000k so I'm just looking for a halogen bulb that has a more white light than the standard yellow to use for the high beams and maybe fogs tool f that makes sense if that make something like that. I live out in the country so I use the high beams alot so the fogs flicker n and off alot so I think it may be best to just use a normal bulb.

Just to close this out it was the ballast that was bad. Kindof dissapointing since I've only had the hids since the end is november. The good news is if the other one goes bad I already have the ballast from the fog light already mounted and ready to use since I'm just going to use halogen bulbs. I order these bright yellow ones from eBay hopefully they look good.
