So I just got my HIDs in the mail today and I started to remove the front bumper as according to the guide on here, when I got to the end I could not pull the bumper off . I THINK that its due to their being a molding strip around the wheel well. Anyone else have problem removing the bumper?

are you talking about the rubber weather guard stuff in the wheel well? they have clips that you can pop off.

That is the tutorial that I followed. Here is a picture of the problem:

There is a strip there that is not in that guide. It seems to just be stuck on so I do not want to pull it off. Anyone else have this problem?

I had to cut through it with a real fine blade, it was definitely what was stopping me from removing the bumper. You cant really see the cut at all so its ok.

I really dont think that was a good idea to cut. What if something was off with the car so the dealership threw on that strip to cover it up? You know they would do some crap like that.

I'm not worried about it, you cant even see the cut when the bumper was put back on. Both the front and the rear have it so I doubt it was just something they threw on to cover something up. Anyway HIDs look fantasti!..... Only problem is when I reconnected everything my sub isn't working anymore

I beg to differ! The cost of the gold emblems and fender protectors is in the time a person would spend getting that crap off
