Most cut the bumper to run a larger intercooler I got a 12x17x3 Starion intercooler and it fits perfectly (just a little to tall) in the 91-93 bumper opening so it is about 17x8

I bought my 'cooler, and didn't measure a thing. Let me tell you why, I can saw the crap out of it, or V the radiator and cut the hood, or make an air dam scoop. Long story short, we are pioneers doing things that Nissan never thought we should, or the cars would have came that way or Nismo would make kits for the KA. Build your kit, blow your engine, and do it again. Then let us help you figure out what you did wrong. After all, a spare KA should be a dime a dozen since all of these tools want to swap for (what!? what!?) less displacement on an aluminum block and a head that can't handle high R's as well.
