Evening Folks,

Finally have my dream Z, now the fun part! One of the first things I plan on doing is replacing the front bumper. I just purchased larger Side Mount IC's from Z1 which I'll install during the process. So I spoke to a local body shop and they are telling me its about $823 for an OEM front bumper. Does that check out? Seems crazy expensive to me. I went on google and ebay and could only find bumpers for N/A Z's and aftermarket JDM style. I like them but with my already purchashed IC's not sure how the open area would look.
Looking for any help! Thanks in advance!
Andy

Personally I think the '99 jspec bumper is the most attractive of a very small selection of Z32 front bumpers, and with the benefit of OEM fit/mounting with ALL of your OEM brackets unlike nearly anything else.
I have one on my TT which also has the larger Z1 upgrade smics in the OEM mounts, which do fit the jspec with some massaging to the air guide ducts at the openings.

How's it look without the IC at the center though? Do you have a picture of it somewhere on here?

Thanks for the feedback

You can click on my build thread link at the bottom of my sig pic, there's shots of the car with the jspec and new paint midway, and near the end after my engine work and all I think there may be shots of it with the new smics...not sure though.
Personally I am not a fan of the fmic/center opening look but the center opening here on the Z32 looks very good IMO fitting better with the body lines and styling than the original OEM unit, and unlike anything else that tries to be racy or whatever and just (again, IMO) looks ricey or just out of place.
Everyone is free to have their own opinion and taste/style, but the jspec is probably viewed as the "safest" and least offensive of the aftermarket bumpers.

I tried it a few times but I keep getting "image not found", I'll get on google in the morning and see what I can find.

Thanks!

Hmmmm, thanks for the heads-up...seems my build thread has been ruined somehow as imageshack images are gone, and the newer photobucket ones are often ruined as well.
I will see about repair or replacement, thanks again...and check for that as it will have the pics you are looking for.
