Front Bumper access panel/cutout

Anyone know what this is for? Its on teh passanger side kinda above the fog lights and below the headlight. Its a couple inches square..

just curious.

It is a hook behind it incase you have to get pulled out of a ditch.Read about it in the owners manual.
