This is a great question. I have a coupe, so I'm not sure about the sedan.

Lemme see if I can get somebody who knows to help you out...

YOu would have to change the headlights, the grille and the hood. Not worth the hassle. Just get the aero front bumper for the 03-04 sedan. Also called a "nismo" bumper.

So, let me get this straight... you "installed" a 2nd gen front bumper cover on your 03 sedan??? ...

I don't doubt it, but I think red's right, to properly install the second gen bumper, you'll have gaps around the grille, headlights, and such.

If we're wrong, I think that's good news, I hit damn racoon and have some minor damage, just enough to get a full kit, or now, quite possibly the 2nd gen bumper

You are right, it won't fit properly. Hell you can just look at the difference between the two and tell it won't work.

2006 sedan

03/04 sedan w/aero bumper

Now if you cant see the differences, you need some serious glasses.

Assuming the widths are similar, I could see someone modding one to fit the other...Can't tell if it would look good or now.

Now, if you're crazy like me, you can go out and purchase an 05 rear end, and the 05 mudflaps to meet properly, which might set you back around 4-500... and get the 2005 tail lights as well, I'm hunting down a set right now

It may cost around 1K, but I'll have the *** of the 05 now... plans to add a black widow or some other crazy front end / side skirts to complete the look.... Don't rush anything though, I'm taking my time with it so it looks perfect
