Most of you guys probably know this. The calipers are screwed in by 2 holes. Those 2 holes with the rubber boot, main pins, the top one is lock right? As in, you cannot slide it out. Both of the rear will slide out but the top front calipers' main pins lock?thanks

grab it with a vice grips

they may be siezed, when mine did that, i had to use a pipe wrench to get them out, sometimes they just get wedged in there

I've looked on the inside of the boot. Both of them looked kind of diff to the other one. It's more thicker and it's shiny metal, while the other one is black or rubber looking. I 've used a wrench also...sigh. What a tough bastard.

dont quote me on this but I think that they are supposed to slide right out and like these other guys said if they're stuck you may need to be a little more persuasive

i feel so stupid...i think i'm the only person with so many problems. I can rotate the pin around no problem but i cannot pull it out; even when while I twist and pull it at the same time with a wrench. Imma give it several more tries and see

well dont feel dumb man even the most experienced mechanics get stumped on the simplest things and like I said before I am not 100% sure that the pins come out but I think they do. I have had the same problem before where they would rotate freely but not come out (usually due to a ridge of rust or some other buildup on the pin). Try using a punch on the backsite and tapping it with a hammer. Dont worry about damaging the pin because it can be replaced cheaply, just worry about the other more expensive components and hammer away.
