My brake pedal was far too out like 3" more out than the gas pedal which was annoying while braking so I adjusted it like the FSM told me to do and at first it was fine...I adjusted 3 nuts...the 2 with the sensors attached to it to adjust the height and the one to adjust the brake pressure (it has a rubber boot around it)...so after doing all that I tested it and it was fine...acceleration was still slow so I adjusted it a little more to the point where it seemed fine and then I did a test run 4 hours later and the pedal was stiff but it had a play to it which my inexperience told me it was fine, and on the test run my brake pedal got rock hard and brakes were being applied as I drive (of course I made a u turn and came back home)..it was like I was fighting the brakes to accelerate and it got worse and worse as I drove back to the point where my brakes were heavily smoking as I pulled in and a serious burning smell....where did I go wrong? :wtf2: ....I didn't even need to apply brakes to slow down at a stop light.

Put the pedal back to where it was.

Well, for starters - driving with the brakes locked up wasn't exactly the brightest idea...

yeah yeah yeah I know, but I fixed it by adjusting it some more...its all good now, I use to hate the height difference between the gas pedal and the brakes, 3" is a lot.
