I'm looking to upgrade the front brakes on my s13 to either q45 or, should budget crunch hit, maxima calipers and rotors. I'd like to do an upgrade all around though, and after swapping the fronts I'll have a pair of front calipers/rotors sitting around...

So basically, can I put the front calipers and rotors on the rear of the car? Are they any larger and would it be worth it? I stared at my FSM for about 15 minutes and couldn't find a size mentioned, but I can't imagine the fronts would be as small as the rears.

Thanks.

as far as i know, everything will fit and bolt up. calipers are almost the same ie believe, but i think the pad may be a bit larger? dunno, dont remember. anyway, the rear brake is a solid disc, its really thin. diamater is the same i think. clearance shouldn't be an issue. only thing to think about is the ebrake. you wouldnt have it anymore. you cant use rear calipers and front rotors together. i dont think so cause the difference in rotor thickness. my 2 cents... Q45 brakes are great :) i got mine done for under 150.
