HI all,

I had a stuck front driver caliper. I ordered a new caliper for 240sx with ABS breaks for a convertible. That was my understand at least that verts have front ABS rotors and calipers since the car is heavier.

Problems is the shop ordered the wrong part, and I need to get the right one ordered. Does any one have the correct Nissan part number for this? Or is anyone parting out a vert and want to get rid of the front driver caliper. I need to get something on there that fits correctly, since it is my daily driver.

Thanks

What a coincidence! My driver's side front caliper is seized, too!

It's intermittant, though. It's only seized up once so far (knock on wood).

Luckily, I have a nice friend who will maybe give me his when he does his brake conversion.

Have you checked ebay?

Hey i just thought of something. Does your vert have ABS? cuz my 240 does, hopefully that won't make a difference. Hopefully ill get my rotors and Z32 master cylinder this week and paint my Z32 calipers sexy black with silver nissan logos soon

p.s. do you think your boy will give me a hand with the swap and bleeding the brakes?

I don't think I have ABS. I'll have to find out if that matters.

I'm definately sure The Hood will help you out with the brakes.

the caliper shouldent matter the only thing that make it abs is the sensor that is on the wheel hub.

so any s13 caliper should work fine.

ABS equipped cars had slightly larger rotors. The pads were increased in size to match. Unfortunately, my old calipers found a new home on a clapped out vert a friend of mine was piecing back together.

They look a bit used, but maybe you could ask him if they're in working condition.

verts didn't get abs, but all verts had the same brake hardware as coupes and hatches that had abs.
