I notice that when I come to a stop at a stop sign or red light, I hear the front rotors squeeking. Upon closer inspections, I notice there wasn't much padding left on both front calipers. After going over the FSM regarding brakes, I was disappointed it didn't go over in details how to remove the calipers and take out the pads. I was hoping if someone here would be kind enough to post a walk-through on how to do it. Any response would be kindly appreciated.

I've also decided that I'm going to go with a set of OEM or AXXIS brake pads. Is there anything I need for this job?

Another thing, since I will be only changing the front brake pads, I wouldn't need to bleed the system. Right? Also, whenever I step on the brake pedal, I don't feel it pulsating or shaking, so there's no indication that the rotors would need resurfacing, right?

ok to remove the calipers there is 2 14mm bolts holding them on to the carrier. take them out. do one side at a time so you dont pop the caliper out on the other side while compressing the piston. once you take the 2 bolts out slide the caliper off the pads use a very large pair of channel locks to squeeze the piston into its bore this will push fluid back into the master cyl and may cause it to spill over. place a rag under the master to catch this fluid before starting. do the same thing for the other side. if your rotors arent glazed or warped no you dont need to turn them. also recommend you use nissan PBC to coat the metal side of the pads and between the factory hardware installed on the pads, you will need to take this hardware from the old pads. if it is missing i recommend you get it. it helps prevent brake noise.if you decide to turn the rotors you will need to romove the carrier to get it off. there are 2 19mm bolts holding them on

you should inspect and do the rear brakes also...keep everything nice and balanced, better stopping power.
