ARE THERE INNER AND OUTER BEARINGS ON 2001 QX4 FRONT? DEALER SAYS RECCOMEND REPLACE NOT REQUIRE. I WAS THINKING DO THESE AND ROTORS AND PADS. 70000 MILES. I WANT TO BUY PARTS ON LINE AND HAVE LOCAL GUY INSTALL INSTEAD OF DEALER. ANY THOUGHTS??

Hey there and Welcome to Nico.

There is no need to yell at us.

There are a few things I would like to say regarding this.

Instead of blindly replacing the bearings as they rarely fail, I would take them apart and inspect them for signs of overheating and wear. If they do need to be replaced the races also need to be replaced as well.

The bearing setup is not a common setup like the ones used in American vehicles and I would recommend having a reputable shop doing it even if it costs more money. Remember that the wheels are directly connected the brake rotors and if they are not installed correctly you may loose a wheel or end up with some expensive damage. I personally performed two front brake sets and one rear on QX4s this week alone. If there is no Infiniti dealer near you try a Nissan dealer the Pathfinder is pretty much the same thing only Nissan cannot perform warranty work.
