Your best bet is to call a parts store I imagine the price varies considerably.

Just a thought to consider, give the dealer a call and get a price from them. It’s going to be higher, you may try an on line dealer for a better price. The reason I say this is most parts store sell reman axles, which means they’ve been reground and some parts replaced. Sometimes you get a good one and sometimes not. Most have a “lifetime” warranty as long as you don’t mind replacing them multiple times.

I had mine replaced at the dealership a year ago. The cost for the two front axles, parts only, was $1224.00
They did it at the same time that they replaced my transmission so they didn't charge me extra labor.

Looked them up online the other day after our dealership replaced ours because it was conditional to us buying it. MSRP is like $675, You can buy the OEM Half-shaft on the web site for $434 each, and the local parts stores here have them for about $65. They say new, OEM quality, but are they REALLY? I've been through several sets on my Chevy, when the factory ones lasted 100k+ miles.

If you can find the outer or inner joint from the dealer minus the axle itself you could just replace the ends. There is usually just a snap ring holding the ends on and a couple of whacks with a hammer or a slide hammer will pop either joint right off.

On VW’s you can swap the joints using that method from side to side. In other words you run you car for a 100k and the right outer starts making noise. So you take the right outer and move it to the left side, clean, regrease and reboot and the same with the left joint to the right side. Drive it for another 100k. The wear is all in one direction and by swapping now your wearing it in the other direction. I haven’t heard of anyone doing it with a Nissan yet so I’m not recommending it. Just letting you know there are options.

It beats buying a china pop axle or an axle that is a reground reman destined for imminent failure.
