I'm testing all the buttons on the dash and got to the blower fan, and it's not coming on. Checked the mini fuse and it's ok. I found the front fan blower relay in the fuse box, but it's not wanting to come out. I pulled it with pliers, tried a flat head screw driver at what looks like the plastic "latch" on the housing, but I'm afraid I'm going to screw something up if I keep on yanking on it. What's the trick to pulling this relay?

There are two 20A fuses in parallel for the blower, both located in the Fuse & Link Box under the hood. They both need to be good. Most of those double-throw relays you just need to depress the latch tab, but the terminals often get stuck and make them very hard to extract. The tab catches on the pawl shown by the red arrow in the pic. The two orange terminals should be hot all the time, yellow should go hot with the key.

PS - The terminal opposite yellow should be ground (that's the coil circuit). With the relay in place and the key on, the terminals opposite the oranges should both go hot. If you want to test the circuit by jumping it with the relay out, both orange circuits need to be jumped simultaneously. If you only jump one with the blower live, then one of the two fuses will blow if the blower is any good. To check relay function, you're better off rigging power across the yellows with the relay removed and then ohming the oranges.

Thanks, vstar, that helps. I did get it out and ordered another one and the blower resistor, too, just in case. Waiting for them to arrive from RA.
