rb25det into my 86z31 turbo. either that or a TT fairlady engine. what do you think would be better? anyone know what else i would need besides engine, tranny, ecu? im guessing some fab. and engine mounts and possibly cross member. any help would be good. websites too.

Those are both very complicated, custom, and involved swaps. RB25 swap has only been done a handful of times that I know of (all overseas), and vg30dett is a very rare swap as well since a stock vg30et can be modded to over 500hp w/ relative ease in comparison to the hassle of the other two motors.

if your gonna do the swap, go with the RB the jap ZR200 was a Z31 with an RB20DET, if you put any RB motor in there your gonna need the oil pan and engine mounts from a ZR200, the ZR hood was a lil different but I am not sure if it is needed for clearance, check for more info at Z31.com
