The other week I decided to order a new monitor and video card to have a dual-monitor setup as right now I only have a Sony 19" which is a great LCD but not widescreen and I really need 2 monitors. Anyway, I ordered a Viewsonic 22", GeForce 9600 GSO (768MB), 1TB Hitachi drive and a 8GB thumb drive (trying to help the economy ). Good stuff...

Well, I obviously missed something as the monitor I ordered did not have DVI

So, I just went through cust support for a return (TigerDirect) and just ordered a replacement.

Samsung Touch of Color T260 26" LCD Widescreen Monitor. It should be quite interesting going from a single 19" to a 26" + 19" monitor

Weeeee

Geeze, and I thought my 22 inch samsung was huge...26 would be out to my periphery.

Right now the color is too blue so I really need to crack down on it to get it to match my Sony monitor which is displaying what I consider "proper coloring".

That 4:3 Sony LCD is the goofiest monitor I've ever seen in my entire life.

Nice purchase. If I wanted an LCD I'd probably buy a Samsung touch of color. The price difference is retarded between 22" and 24" even with my discount, I can't imagine the price of the 26".

I remember those Sony 17" monitors of that style being like 500 bucks when they originally came out.

Very Nice. Looking for something that big as well for my one computer, but I need it to have TV inputs like S-vid or cable, etc.

Not sure if you guys ever go to this site but it's awesome for anyone who is a little more brave than others and don't mind doing cool projects.

Damnit! Now on top of the "Carputer" project I have been wanting to do forever.. and the LinuxMCE/Home Automation integration and build I am wanting to do.. I now have to add this thing to my list of freaking expensive projects... THANKS ALOT!.. Haha.. It is pretty awesome though...
