well.. the 03 04 M is base and didnt come in sport or anything like that. The cars are the same with the exception of the CD player location (03 is in the glove box and 04 is in the deck) low mileage well maintained is the way to go. Make sure the oil changes have been done (preferably synthetic oil)mygrlgloria wrote:thanks i have went on autotrader,cars.com.ebay and i've found a few but i need to know what i'm looking for first i know what it looks like but alot of sites dont have pic posted and when i call and ask the sales people have a hard time explaining it and im not about to drive 1700 plus miles to say AZ for the wrong color
well number 1 the y34 preforms better i've owned about 8 mercedes an two of them are w220s an s430 and the s500 pictured. number 2 maintenance cost im a diy'er and with the w220 it's only like 30% diy thats it and this is coming from a guy who pulls his own motors (in the honda/acura world) because i also own a 2001 acura type-r that i race as a hobby it's hard taking your car to a dealership because they only have the tools to work on your car but half the common sense car knowledge that you have you know and yeah thanks for the heads up on the aftermarket parts i'll be importing all of my parts hell i've already ordered tein springs and dont even have the car yet! but thats the way i've always done it bring the new toy home with a garage full of parts !CakeDaddy wrote:WOW from the Benz world to the Infiniti. Im considering selling look at the url below with all the goodies.
Be aware that you'll be stuck and not able to purchase any after market parts in the US for the beast.
Question: why are you moving from the w220
Im gonna get flammed for this , but....tein springs! is it too late to cancel? You may be pissed off with those from what I've seen one here. The rears sit lower than the front with those tein springs, but yeah we have a couple of benz's in the garage and they can be painful when they break. Recently I've changed the rear brakes on one and the EPS/BAS relay under the brake pedal, but other than that............ We've had to change the ingition assembly and get new keys, but all under warranty ($1800) worth of work and parts.mygrlgloria wrote:

jbillion thank you for the pic of your graphite leather ! what color is the wood that came with it ?jbillion wrote:I think this comment was directed at me. The interior looks lighter in the picture because of the flash. It is definitely Graphite, per the window sticker. Also, stone is an off white, beige-ish interior.

I've got it listed for a great price right now with most of the common M45 issues addressed already. There is a link in my signature for more info.
Regardless, the Y34 is a great car and I'm sure you'll love it!
