Hi everyone, I am suffering from a problem. My s13 was stolen 2 years ago and I recently got it back. (Thank you sweet god... ) However it did come with a hitch. The car was basically intact. The battery was dead, and the clutch pedal was basically hitting the floor. I diagnosed and fixed the no start thing. That was easy. Just needed a new battery and fired right up. The clutch pedal thing... well... I replaced the clutch master cylinder (just in case) and the clutch slave cylinder (because it was blown). I have attempted to bleed the system with dot 3 brake fluid (It seems weird to me but that's what the manual said.) And still no improvement. Am I doing it wrong? I know the clutch dampener is still in place and I found another drain point there and I probably need to drain that too I guess but I just want to make sure its just an air bubble and not something else. Please help oh car gods.

The clutch dampener setup on these cars seems to be notoriously difficult to get bled. Many people like to ditch the stock dampener setup in favor of a direct line for exactly this reason. Keep at it for now, and make sure your master resevoir stays full so you don't accidentally suck air back into the system.
