I don't even want to bother asking any of them why they would rather have the s2k than the Z. Not only my friends said they would rather have the s2k but my co workers also. I'm just assuming they like the s2k better because its lighter/less gas? What do you Z owners think?

first of Welcome! , from that post I think you are new here. your friends and co-workers are exercising their right to their opinion. You should respect that. You can't expect everybody to like the Z, although they should

S2K's are awesome cars!...if you have never driven one I suggest you should...it might not have that much power...but that car is very fun to drive...especially the climb to redline

Ok, i honestly would love to own another S2K someday, and they perform quite well, but as far as the Z or the STOOK, i would pick the Z. Now in comparison, the Z is a stiffer ride, but has a little better response..... The S is extremely quiet when your referring to the engine noise, the Z sounds like its dying at high RPM's and is extremely noisy (took me awhile to get used to).... The S definetly makes you smile all the way from 6500 - 9000 (i had a 2000 - AP1).... The S is by far my choice for a convertible car, and if compared to the Z convertible, well i would take the S then.......

FWIW i raced an 05 S2K about a month ago from a 40mph roll to about 90, pulled 1.5-2 cars (walked him hard). A guy i know. Z - FTW

I wouldn't hate just because they'd prefer an S2K. They're fine sports cars. In some respects they're better than the Z, but in other respects they're worse. It reallyl depends on what you want in your sports car.

yeah they all said its a funner car to drive because they drove them already supposedly. I don't know how its funner but yeah maybe the top down is nice? I don't know the reason why I asked this is because i just want a comparison between these 2 cars.

they like the S2K btter because they are all gay the S2K is faster than the Z in autocross and road racing, and they all come convertible and lots of people love a convertible, all the charm of a classid roadster but with the performance adn relibulity to back it up, they are very imoressive cars, far better turn in and braking than the Z33 as well, just not enough torque to mow the lawn

it all comes down to what moves you? on paper a vette is awesome but I don't own a gold chain I just don't get as excited about a vette as I do a Z, I am a Z geek and have been for a long time, I enjoy lots of other cars but the Z is something sppecial to me, if everyone agreed there would only be one model of car and how boring would that be
