friend cut trans wires!! now engine wont start

The trans wires are cut and the engine wont start, i know this is becuz of the neutral safety switch, so the question is if i loop the neutral safety switch(like u would for a auto to manual swap) is my car going to start??i haveto show the engine to a buyer this weekend

fsm calls it a neutral switch, not a safety neutral switch. it tells ecu when car is in neutral for managing idle. my 1991 starts in gear. it sends ground to the ecu. if there are two wires coming in just connect them . if only wire then ground it.
