i'v fried 2 ecus in a week and i dont know what is wrong so i pulled my harness to find an open and i couldnt find one only thing i saw was one of the wires for my o2 sensor was only like half sodered. So what happens was it will buck once then it will shut off. it will turn over but not start and my fuel pump doesnt work. I blow the engine control fuse in the engine bay and then they ecu fries.

can anyone help me

edit: i did haver a wrie running for the motor to the shock tower for an extra ground but i took it off cuz it looked ****ty. and i dont rember if it was before or after the first ecu i fried. could that have something to do with it? like my motor isnt grounded well enough?

that sir is most likely due to your maf wires shorting out. go through your maf harness carefully and fix the short.

i had the same exact headache you're going through right now. blowing engine control fuses and all. oh, and the ecu is fixable with a little solder, small strands of copper wire and a bit of creativity

let me know if it fixes it, and if it does. can i have one of your broken ecu's

Damn dude....that sucks. I had to re-solder a couple connections for my MAFS wiring and O2 Sensor wiring before I moved to TX....I was just cleaning up my engine and happend to notice the ****ty soldering job that was done from a certain sponsor that I will not mention (but you know who it is)....You also know that I had to re-pin my Z32 MAFS connector 2x as well. Hope you get yours up and running soon.

if your talking about heavy throttle then say it, more and more people are coming out of the closet about there badly/ carelessly done wire harnesses. mine sucks, it takes a real winner to re solder a wire to a connector about 3 mm away from the plug.
