No, I'm being serious. You can blame whatever you want, but it was your driving that put you into that pole. You're in denial if you're blaming anything else.

Sorry, but slow down.

this will affect you lifetime wise. you won't be driving fast on wet roads. been there too.
WOW, you people are dumb, hydroplaning happens, you think he wants a freaking lecture right now after totaling his fixed car and being injured, hop off his d1ck you pricks.

I honestly don't know what to say here... I feel terrible for what happened to you and your baby, Tan. Especially after I so vigorously encouraged you to fix her after the last time instead of getting something different...

I'm really glad to hear you weren't banged up worse, but I'm definently sending some positive enrgy your way for a speedy recovery.

And to be honest, you've been on my mind the past few days actually. See, I've been considering selling my Zenki and getting a Lexus SC300 for a 1JZ swap. But I kept thinking to myself, "Man, Tan will ride my a$$ if I sell my Zenki!" (no h0m0)

Anyways, if the Evo thing doesn't work out and you end up having to buy a cash car, maybe you could consider an SC and then we could still kick it at ClubLexus.com!

Get well soon!

BTW...

fixed.

I feel bad for you man, and yes people hydroplaning does happen. Its happened to me while trying to park in a f***ing parking space going like what? 5mph? Puddles and 240s don't mix, i almost hit the building and another car.

I wish you the best of luck with finding another car. Feel better.

good tires will fix some of that problem.

bald tires and water really dont mix well.. i had a hatch with bald front tires and and no sway bar, along with a straight six. not very fun at all.

Slow down or pick a different road. 240's suck in the rain.

Only if you're going too fast. Our cars are very light and it doesnt take much to hydroplane. Its not an Escalade.

Anyway you got to fix here once again when you feel better. Maybe a S14 front clip could save it, but cant tell the extent of the damage from pixs.
I got my car back for about a week before this happened.

The frame is really tweaked so I'm not sure if its really fixable.
Ghast wrote:I am honestly a little bit more upset about this then i should be.

Buuuuuuut..........

First, For those of you who see the pic and think he is going faster or was messing around. Think about the money he shelled out to fix the damn thing, Why in the hell would he risk f***ing it up again by jacking around? I think his reputation has served him well enough here on NiCO to know that he is NOT an Idiot Ricer. It is COMPLETELY possible for the car to be in that bad of condition only going 30mph if not less. How much does a car way? what is the surface area of the entire front of the car? what is the area of the stupid a** poll? Who knows Newtons law? Let me put it simple, The part of the car that DID hit the poll clearly stopped, The front of the car that did not hit anything kept moving because it was not acted upon by an outside force at the time of impact. Common sense people. THE SLOWER YOU GO OVER A POT HOLE the more prone to resistance your car becomes.... Think about it.

You people can be serious a** hats sometimes, He is one of our fellow Niconaughts and all some of you have to say is stupid s***. Guess what guys? s*** happens, and OMG guess what?! it is not always because someone is d!ck around.

If this were to happen to say "Broadfield" or "Kylipso(i know i spelled it wrong but you all know who i am talking about)", Even "Brian Hatre"(all of which are great guys btw). NONE of you would second guess yourselves to saying something along the lines of "omg i am so sorry that happened, because i know you drive like a God and this just cant randomly happen to you because you are made of awesome. It had to be an error in the road that caused you to crash because you are just to good for that to happen too." Don't even front because you ALL know its true.

Secondly, It really makes me mad that this kind of s*** happens to the people who are TRYING to save a 240 or are TRYING to live a legit life. And there are dumb asses out their killing other people doing stupid s*** in their "Ferrari" of a civic, and still walk away unharmed. it is seriously f***ed up.

OP, i am sorry that happened to you. I am glad you are ok. Let us know what your plans are. If it does not involve a 240 you are still one of us haha.

94_240sx, Where the hell do you live?! Are you guys both up by Dallas? Have you ever been to Jhot Imports near Denton maybe even Abaline i think? i would like to know if it is worth traveling up from San Antonio for.

I have lots of Love and respect for all of you, no matter how d!ck some of you can be.

Keep the peace.

One Love,

Ghasty

PS: i am kind of tired so if this did not make any sense........ thennnnnnnn i dunno, good i guess haha!

Lol thanks for understanding man, it just sucks that I put so much effort in bringing her back and now shes gone.

I highly recommend Jhot in Denton, really cool guys and awesome service!

**Side note**

Is it just me or are all the new members d!ck?
Amtk240 wrote:That was a nice Zenki, and I'm sorry you lost her again. I hope you heal fast and find another car soon.

Did you have any suspension or steering damage from the first accident? If so, that may have been why the car was harder to control in the rain. Just a thought.
I checked all that out before I actually took the car back on the road. everything was fine from what I saw.

Thanks man, you never even got to see my car in person!!!

but the Evo thing is going quite well. If everything goes to plan I should have it by Monday.

But I think you should keep the Zenki man. I'd feel better you having it than some fan boy getting their hands on it and tearing it up

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I went to the chiropractor today and he told me that I would need some therapy for my neck and back, as of now I have to wear a neck brace when I sleep or doing something really active, I'm healing really well and the swelling in my face is slowly going away.

*P.S.*Even if I got another car, I still know my place here on Nico and will always be lurking around helping as many people out as I can. I belong to the Nico family, and me getting a new car doesn't change that.

Thanks guys

-Tan

I'd still have the s13, but yes, having a nice car that I once owned being turned into a drift slut is my secret fear...

But man... this Lexus bug has bitten me something bad!!! Oh well. We'll see.

And that would be cool, sound like a plan.

What year/model and color is the evo? Stock or modded?

Huh? Do you mean you wanna see my s14 before I sell it or you wanna see the SC300 before I buy it?

Man, to my surprise... the JZZ30 scene is really similar to what the 240 scene was like around '03-'04 or so... More people are starting to do engine swaps and whatnot. The big difference is that, most of the cars retain tasteful, luxury styling rather than looking like they are owned by a bunch of dorifto tyte fanboyz...

Plus, so far, it looks as if they've completely avoided the drift-tax phenomenon...

I just remember seeing a thread wheres someone crashed there s14, and it was like there 2nd or 3rd one. That's why I asked, but obviously your quite anal about it.
