Had cooling issues with my 240, and finally got a my bleed issues worked out, found out the thermostat was not working and took it to a mechanic I use every once and awhile when I'm being lazy and asked him to change it out. The car ran fine on the drive home and I didn't think twice about it. I parked the car at home and drove my Infiniti the rest of the day. The next morning I did my little 10 mile sprint to work and the B...itch overheated again, I called the insurance and had them send a tow truck because I found a crack in my radiator. I replaced the damn radiator and the hoses for some silicone joints (I love, Ebay... ) and the damn thing started spitting radiator fluid like crazy, so I pulled my finger out and replaced the water pump and went ahead and took out the thermo only to find out it was put in backwards... should do?

Can you still prove that the thermo was put in backwards. Since you already replaced all that other stuff I would make your mechanic refund you the cost of the maintenance to replace said thermostat.

I installed a new Thermostat...and still no flow, I removed the thermostat and drove it like that. It worked fine for about then the car bogged down then it wouldn't go into Drive or Reverse. I tryed to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery to at least get me around the corner. Towed it home with my friends Pickem Up Truk... grabbed my scanner and pulled three codes 050- IACV MALFUNCTION, 072- KNOCK SENSOR 2ND BANK, ONE MORE code 114- DEALING WITH 2ND GEAR NOT SYNCHORNIZED AND OVER HEATING SHIFT VALVE SOLENOID #1, AHIFT VALVE SOLENOID #2. SO NOW THE FLIPPING CAR IS DEAD. WON'T TURN OVER, NOTHING AND I HAVE NO IDEA ON HOW TO BEGAN TO FIX IT...ANY SUGGESTIONS...

well, i would say clean the IACV, and make sure your knock sensor is not damaged and make sure its hooked up.not sure what to say about the auto trans stuff.
