i agree. between repairs from the accident, and restoring it from rust, i think it's too much work. maybe some other super-dedicated, vert enthusaist or body specialist would rather do this. i'm not going to do it nor am i going to pay for it.

[/quote]i disagree. the car is still straight, sort of. dig up the old thread if you'd like and you can see the pictures. the only thing close to real structure that was compromised was the windshield frame. seriously, though, there's not enough there to protect you in a roll-over - which would probably kill me anyway.

i just need to convince the wife that it's a lost cause. she loved the car more than i did. she wants to at least dig into it and see how bad it really is. she won't be convinced until she's had a look over it. at that point, we'll get another one and part out the wrecked one. again, i'll keep everyone posted.
