Hello folks, just joined the community after I traded my rx7 for 2000 q45
I was over the tuner phase and wanted to jump into the vip trend
so when I had my chance to get the q45 I did it in a heartbeat.

The car has 23x,xxx miles and the engine lights on
the brakes were wraped and done. Shook the car horribly when braking.

Haven't check the engine light codes but so far

I changed sparks. The brakes and fluid flushs.

I want to slowly make it cherry and wanted to get some tips to what would ideally be nextnjob for me thanks guys cheers

The car drives well
it dosent seem at its peak of power but its alright
but the crank start takes a bit each time
hopefully tune ups will juice up all my flaws

Plugs, filters and fluids (haw are ATF and PS Fluid?) are a good start.

Suspension rubber probably next. Try Brembo OEM rotors. Paint the hubs if not plated.

If bad rotors were on this car for a while, AND it's been dropped - one of the first things you should do to restore "true" is new hubs. I guarantee they have play and nothing you do it regarding brakes or suspension will be proper. Hubs aren't cheap, but they're one of the most important and overlooked parts of any vehicle.

Car looks nice, welcome to the club. I hope you set aside a car payment for the repairs you'll need to get it up to snuff, granted RX7's aren't cheap, so you're not used to civic cash, but some of these parts are crazy - $250 per front shock for instance (on an 2000 model).

Congrats! Rest assured if you aren't an a$$, you'll find answers to all your questions here on NICO. Welcome aboard. Take notes of what Max says also, he's no stranger to these cars.

Remember - "What's important is true."

At that mileage if the knock sensors, 02 sensors and coil packs haven't been done they are going to be around the corner. I think the brakes will probably need a pretty close to 100% replacement, hopefully the hubs are not shot but they could be. Tension rod ends are rubber and if they haven't been replaced that creates alot more play in the steering and big improvement if you replace the rubber (either with fresh tension rods or new rubbber and the labor to replace them).

The 2000 was pretty bomb proof but as stated the parts are not cheap. Looks like it is in pretty good shape for 2xx,xxx miles...
