I just got my Redtop SR back in the car after rebuilding it. It will idle fine when I first start it up but after it gets a little warm 30 sec or so it starts ti bounce arround from like 300-900. It drives somewhat smooth if I only let it have about 15-30% throttle but as soon as I try to mash on it at all it just starts to loose power when it starts to build more the 3-4lbs of boost. I've had a vac leake before and it does not buck like a vac leak. It just seems like it is starving for fuel or something. When it starts idleing bad a little black smoke comes out and the plugs are BLACK and wet. I've checked all potential vac leaks, o2 sensor, timing and I still cant find anything wrong. I'm running out of ideas and am starting to wonder about my ecu...It worked fine before the rebuild. Any ideas would be awsome!

Black smoke + black and wet plugs means your are running pig rich...

If you checked all the sensors like TPS, O2, Timing, etc, etc I would check to make sure you are getting sparks on all plugs and test to see if your injector rings are still fine.

If it starts fine and idles fine when cold but starts giving problems once warmed up, i would check your coolant temp sensor. Seems like it isnt letting the ECU know that the car is warmed and is still dumping gas like its cold.

I still think I need a new coolant temp sensor cause My idle is still pretty sh*tty and it is still running way ritch...I should probably get an adjustable fpr. Thanks for the help
