Now that is the biggest puke load ever.

Years ago I was thinking the Pontiac Aztek and the Honda Element were grossening automobiles but I see Nissan decided to raise the bar. (Or lower for that matter)

@ Nissan for delivering such a rediculous car or whatever it's called.

The Kia Soul looks like a true work of art compared to it. And the Soul is still in the s***box category.

But that is just my opinion.

I saw a Kia Soul not too long ago outside a theater, plain ugly! I think the Cube looks better. I bet one of the employees that is driving a Cube off the boat is like "man, I'd like to get myself one eventually." Even I'd like to get one and MOD it to my liking.

The Cube is actually growing on me. Don't care for the name although it is apropos. Some interesting (weird, to me) styling exercises going on in the interior. Between the two, I would still take a Versa.

The top of the line Cube is around $20k (the Krom edition).

I'll have to see what's in the Nismo package.

Top of the line is only $20k. That is cheaper than my V. That seems pretty good. Is that American pricing though?

The Cube looks cool from 25 feet away, but the closer you get...it just appears to get smaller. It's definitely a trendy vehicle for city usage. Maybe empty nesters no longer hauling kids or young kids (college) who don't mind a smaller vehicle just to get around. For city living it's a wonderful car. However, there is very little trunk space....the back seats sit almost right up against the trunk door. Definitely a "cute" car that turns a lot of heads...but taking it on major highways or interstates seems a little dangerous...especially with people who drive big honkin SUVs...like me in my Pathfinder!

The Cube is like a baby xB. Of course, made better and much MUCH less bland!

It is a cute car. I would consider one in the FAR distant future when my V is incapable of working anymore.

Speaking of the dangerous part, I don't think think it could be any worse than a Smart Car. Those little cars are everywhere now. I was speaking with a Smart owner the other day and they told me that when its super windy outside they avoid taking the highways or any skyway bridges! haha! They said they just can't control it. Cute car too but way too small.

I hate the Smart Car, that thing is useless like cleaning windows with Armorall.

Lol. Well I guess it appeals to some people. Everyone has dif't tastes. But I agree, to me it would be useless as well. I find the Versa's trunk pretty small, I cannot imagine having the smart sized trunk! But I still think it's cute!

I saw one (Cube) at the dealer when I was trading in my Versa. I have to say, I really don't like the design. I was all over the previous generation Cube, hoping that was the one to be sent stateside, but this new one... it's just too trendy looking for me.

I think a bigger door opening in the back instead of the sides or not at all is a lot better then any other option like that found on any other vehicle, whatever the manufacturer is.

I like the cube just for that reason.

But i would never own one, just because the whole box car design doesn't appeal to me.

Whats the price tag??

I saw one while driving back from pennsylvania to delaware today with temp tags on it (obliviously) and I couldn't take the sight of it. I don't know what it is about it but it looks wrong.

Thought I'd break the awkward silence after that one...

Although I agree that the US version of the ForTwo pales in comparison to something like the Fit/Yaris/Versa, that's because it was saddled with an unimpressive Mitsubishi-sourced 3-cylinder. The Euro version gets amazing mileage with a diesel, but it didn't make US emissions regs.

I just came back from vacation in Spain, and I think I found one place in particular that the ForTwo was ideal, for the residents of Albarracin (see pic below). It is a town of about 1,000 people in the Aragon region, settled in a tiny river valley, with an 11th century castle, 10th century fortified wall, and most of the buildings/streets are unchanged from the 18th century. I saw many ForTwos there, and considering that the roads were less than 10' wide in some spots, they made sense.

Of course, in overcrowded cities like Madrid (or fill in any European metropolis), where parking is scarce, they also make sense.

And here's the view from our room, just to share:

I saw one at my dealer today, and they are built in Japan (hence the reason they were shipped here). This is one positive aspect, as Japanese (and US) built cars tend to be built better (and more consistent) than Mexican-built cars. I have to say, I still don't like it... too small, too unconventional for me.
