Hey guys I've been lurking in these forums for long enough so I figured I might aswell sign up since my ka-t project is done. My problem...it won't start, stats are as follows:Phat KA-T manifold & downpipe Garrett T3/T04E 57 trim 0.48 AR turbine side Tial wastegate (6 lb spring) JGS oil lines & Vacumm blockXS power intercooler kit Custom 2.5 inch hotpipe Turbo XS RFL (recirculated) ebay 3 inch exhaust SR 370cc injectors (in stock fuel rail) Apexi SAFC II (5 in 5 out -25% on low throttle) PLX M300 wideband Walbro 255lphStock MAF (pull through 15 inches from turbo) 100,000 mile stock block Emissions all removed (Pair valve, EGR system, carbon canister, etc.) I've got spark & fuel. I didn't touch the distributor at all during the whole install. My safc is reading 0.2v - 0.3v from the maf when the key is turned on. The only time we got it to start was when we sprayed some carb cleaner down the intake. Really need some input guys, I need this car back on the road.

If you got it to start when you sprayed the carb cleaner then I would reevaluate the fuel system--what is your fuel pressure?

That's what I'm thinking aswell. Could the FPR be shot? I mean it ran fine with the walbro/stock injectors when it was NA.

Put a gage on it--see what pressure you have. Not likely that the FPR is shot

Okay in my ignorance I ended up having the fuel lines hooked up backwards No wonder it wasn't getting any fuel, I was putting pressure on the wrong side of the FPR. It wants to start now but it seems to be drowning in fuel, I pulled the plugs and there just soaked. So I replaced them with the BRK7Es I bought. Wish me luck hopefully it will start now.

Heh... at least you got that figured out.

You should post a better picture of your intake pipe. I'd like to see where you went with it.

Haha it's alive!, it's alive!! I got a couple misc coolant leaks to fix but my ka-t starts! Might have a small vacumm leak since it seems to flux between 800- 1000, but my wideband is reading 14.5 -15.5! Maybe I can adjust my IACV a bit with the screw.
